    What was, what is

                               A world with emptiness, made complete

                          Restless nights, easily turned to nights of sleep 

                            What was once a frown, smiles now replace

                              New memories born, the old are erased 

                               A world of pain, is now filled wit love

                     What was once a push and shove, is embraced by hugs 

                    The wall that once stood, has been knocked to the ground 

                           What was once silent, is now filled with sound 

                         The weight from  shoulders, have been lifted away 

                              Cold nights, now turned into brighter days 

                                 Rainy clouds in skies, replaced by sun 

                              So many old nightmares, now there are none
