let me tell you all why, I love her to my soul
She was that little girl, that made my head swirl
Run around in a craze, even did twirls

She called me Daddy so happy and proud
didn't say it quiet at times, just yelled it out loud
I made such a mistake having you call me Norman
but knew in the end your Mommy, wouldn't be my woman

Tried to have it not hurt this much
losing you altogether, never again to feel your touch

the few idea's I had, that weren't all messed
You're the pink topaz on my lock and key
