Dreaming of You

  • Always and forever no matter where you are or where you decide to go. My love will be there with you, just wish the two of you would know

Dreaming of You

When my mind drifts back to you
It is as if I am with you already
It is then again
Just a matter of waiting
Before we are together

Never to leave you
And never to try and harm you
Being all ready to love you
Completely and unselfishly

You are my reason
My will to live, but somehow now
I’m running on empty
Alone and scared
Afraid of what is yet to come

It seems as if it’s been forever
Since I’ve had your love
Smiled widely at your embrace
Felt your body entwined in mine
As we most comfortably slept…

But forever feels even longer
Knowing that nothing in my will
Can ever bring that back
No power on this earth
May put you beside me again

Now having to face this world alone
My life seems as if not worth participating
But somehow, I still sit here wishing
Loving and hating every single minute of it
Because that is all you’ll ever choose to be
Nothing more, nothing less
Than just that
A dream

but forever feels even longer, makes me feel sad and all alone, very nicely done

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
