Well it's been far to long
Since I've stated what is wrong
Been putting it nicely
Instead of ever so bluntly
I've fought so hard
for what you say is charred

yet not allowed to see talk or touch
What the duck
how can this be such amuck
Done all I can to turn around
yet from you I hear no sound
Is what we had really dead and gone
our account of love been overdrawn
Got him to keep you warm
No longer want or need the man known as Norm
I've done whatever you said
been not a creep, even believed what was fed
Hoped still that one day we could be wed
Then they'd be our girls instead
But the longer I hold steady
the more it seems you'll never be ready
To take my hand and kiss these lips
as I pull you close, by those seductive hips
But fear not, I shall never falter or fade
for you are the decision I have made
And if that means a life alone
tis my own fault, I should have known
