Still
Everywhere I turnI still see your face
These feelings still burn
now long after you left this place
I know it's not even possible
yet my eyes play tricks
Isn't now even nearly plausible
for you no longer live in our sticks
Yet, you still wander my dreams
as I hold you tight and never let go
Whether or not you did switch teams
Would never call you foe
Whether I should or not
matters not the slightest bit
For I even gave up the pot
while still here I shall forever sit
Waiting for another dream to begin
so back to imaginary I can be
And its tachometer I do pin
as my heart, then can be happy and free
In complete and utter irony
long since you walked past
Took enough to be a felony
yet my love still does last
