I'm Sorry

  • Always and forever no matter where you are or where you decide to go. My love will be there with you, just wish the two of you would know

I'm Sorry

The time still came
no matter how hard I tried
To place the blame
or forget the tears I cried

Had it not played out like this
I would not be the same
Being without your kiss
this far I never, could have came

Trying so hard to be the man I once was
way back when I thought I mattered
Before you had ever called the fuzz
and my future with you, had been tattered

I just had to figure out
things the hardest possible way
Without the experience from our bout
words would just be something to say

Instead of taking a necessary step
I stayed behind with the rest
For my future I did not prep
I'd just been waiting on the true quest

And although your heart I didn't win
experience has taught me so very well
There is no room for me to sin
when it is from heaven you had fell

It doesn't matter now
things are so much better
Even if to you, I was to bow
and give you the sweetest love letter

I'd still be all alone
as I'm truly supposed to be
Time has come for me to atone
and let things ride out to sea

I don't know where to go from here
never thought I'd give into the fear
Truth be told, without you my dear
My life would have never shifted gear

I'd still be that lost little boy
searching for his favorite toy
Trying to find the simple joy
while being so very timid and coy

I thank you for all that you've done
has made me see in a different light
I'm sorry I hurt you more times than we had fun
I just couldn't let my muse go, without a fight

The feelings being emitted through your words is very well done. 10 from me.

Thanks Rhymer!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
