She Faked It

  • Always and forever no matter where you are or where you decide to go. My love will be there with you, just wish the two of you would know

She Faked It

Finally, must have to face defeat
once again I have been beat
Another man stepped on in
your love and affection he did win

The way it happens every time
wish it was an actual crime
They loved me for what they had thought
some even, for things I bought

But, doesn't take them very long
figuring out just how wrong
They were indeed, from the very start
but hell, atleast I played my part

As she faked it for a little while
I sat in there in a state of denial
Let my feelings grow oh so wild
as my heart itself, got defiled

Now I sit here in this ones wake
Hoping, praying for my sanity's sake
I keep on keeping on
not feeling as if my life isn't won

Even though every day may not seem
to stand steady on life's balance beam
But for every other time I fell off
I got back up no matter how much I did scoff

So, it's a matter of time tis all
and thanks to anyone who listened to me ball
You have have helped me along the way
Believe me, I know best how long she did sway

My heart and mind, my pride and joys
hell, she even threw out one of our favorite toys
One they used to run and hide in behind the pink mesh
as my every aspect in life got a definite refresh

Now I'm supposed to just get over it?
move on without throwing a $%#-dang hissy fit
I'll tell ya what I flipping know
each passing day this void does grow

You shouldn't have given me ammo to use
For when the day comes I have nothing left to lose
The next best thing to actually having you
Is making sure the one you want finds some info out, before any I do

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
