    Poem Commentary

    No reason. Just came to me.

    Alone

     The days grow cold.
    The nights so long.
    Sleep will not come.
    The nightmare wares on.
    In darkness, in shodow.
    Lost with no sight.
    Will I never excape,
    This horrible plight?
    Drowning alone.
    No one will aid.
    Forever cold.
    Always in pain.
    Light of the sun,
    Find me please.
    Do not allow,
    Me to freeze.
    Though freezing would stop,
    The blood that flows free,
    From the heart,
    I wear on my sleeve. 
    Oh how very stupid of me.

    Sometimes we are alone cause we want to be. It only take a word, smile or for us to extend our hand to others. At times when we feel alone it helps to help others whom we see going through similar or worst situations than us. It bring light, pleasure n happiness feeling you made someones day better. Hugs

    I don't know why I wrote this one. It just came to me. I think this is a flash back poem from my teenage years when i always felt alone and out of place. But i do love helping others when i can regardless of how many times ive been burned doing it.

    Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
