    Poem Commentary

    Dedicated to Poett who shows in words how beautiful her center is. And to people in my life, like my children and my husband and my boss Marty and all those that i consider friends and family, you are beautiful, inside and out. Don't ever let anyone tell you different.

    Pure Gold

     Who are you really?
    Have you ever seen,
    The center of your inner core,
    That hides way down deep?

    There is a piece that makes you,
    Who you truly are.
    It is your own something special.
    Also known as your je ne sais quoi.

    Everyone has it.
    If you'd only try,
    You would find your true self,
    If you'd take the time.

    And this doesn't just work on you,
    But also those you do and do not know.
    If you look close you may see,
    Centers of pure gold.

    Awesome write. Thank you so much. I feel special. You actually made me blush. You know what this evening has been so special to me. First one of my photos of my christmas tree I took got chosen as photo of the day by Woman's day magazine. Then my husband n I cooked dinner together n it was fun. Third my son surprised me with a call. He is in Notre Dame University. He has been very busy with exams n projects since he is a junior n studying aerospace engineering. Well we had fun talking n laughing. Now I can't sleep n came here n found this great poem. Your message telling me I inspired you. Wow! I truly feel special n so great. Thank you so much... you made my night even greater.

    I am glad you enjoyed it. Major congrats on your son. I hope my children do as well when they are older. Kudos on getting your pic picked too. that's big.

    If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
