Sweet Child
Sweet little child,
Nestled deep inside.
You came as a shock,
But I carry you with pride.
Never did I think,
That I'd be a mother again.
But God made his own plans,
But God made his own plans,
And now I shelter you within.
Never doubt that you were wanted,
Though a surprise you may have been.
You are a blessing I never thought to again experience.
You are the most precious of all gifts.
Now I must patiently wait,
The day I can hold you in my arms seems so far away.
Know my love for you will only continue to grow,
Stretching past eternity.
