Hidden Wounds
A heart will bleed deep within,
Yet never show evidence upon the skin.
The wound will fester while it grows,
But an outward appearance it wil never show.
That is why so many die alone.
Their questions unaswered and their stories untold.
For no one thought to look deeper inside,
To see beyond the protective lies.
But then no one truely wants the truth.
They ask how you are but then they are through.
So there you are, again left alone.
Dieing within because the bleeding won't slow.

To see beyond the protective lies.
But then no one truely wants the truth.

So there you are, again left alone.
Dieing within because the bleeding won't slow.
