Your Not Alone
No one else can hear the voice in your head.
They can't hear the insidious whisper that
never ceases.
They don't feel how it slowly picks away at the
foundation of your fragile and almost non
existent self confidence.
They can't see or hear or feel it so they can't
really know.
They can't understand why knowing the truth
and actually hearing the truth are two
different things.
They can't fathom how lost in darkness you are
because they've never been without a
flashlight.
I'm not saying they've never been through hard
times but it's different when you don't
believe in yourself.
It's different when you can't see your own self
worth.
I hope you never feel the desolation of
depression.
I pray you never hear the poisonous
whisperings of anxiety.
I genuinely wish that you are whole and happy
and healthy your whole life through.
But for those like me, know your not alone.
