Motherhood
Of all the many things,One could have to bring them joy,
The one I want with a ll of my heart,
Is a new baby boy.
Though I do already have two,
Twins I never thought I'd have,
They are growing like weeds,
Which is to say way to fast!
My heart has more than enough room,
To house one more precious life.
That would make four in all.
Doesn't that number just sound right?
Never in my time on this earth,
Have I ever been happier than when,
I felt that sweet little life,
Growing deep within.
Morning sickness and heartburn,
Bloating and labor pains,
I would face it all gladly.
All are a price I am willing to pay.
For to endure such unpleasantness,
Would mean that in just nine short months,
A miracle I will be blessed with,
And I will hold my new baby in my arms.
