Oh My Sister
Oh, how I ache for you,
Sister of my heart.
If I could take this burden of pain from you,
Never would I have let it start.
I silently watch you suffer,
And when you are cut, I bleed.
Know that you are not alone in this darkness.
I stand beside you eternally.
If wrapping you in my arms,
Would keep you from ever again feeling such pain,
Never would I let you leave them.
I would forever keep your heart safe with me.
But all I can do is help you stand,
Whenever you should stumble and fall.
It seems such a paltry gesture,
When you've helped me through it all.
You are the sister I have chosen.
Beside you I will always stand.
No matter where life leads us,
You are forever in my heart and always my bestfriend.
