    Poem Commentary

    To Kathy Craker, my biological mother.

    Treachery

     My heart is filled with hurt and sorrow,
    And I know not what to do.
    The pain lashes at me like so many chains,
    Riping me, burning me, cutting me in two.

    The knife was plunged, then twisted and turned,
    By someone I thought I knew.
    I thought this someone held me in their heart.
    I thought that they were true.

    But I discovered I was wrong in my judgment,
    And their betrayal cut so deep.
    I thought not of putting up my guards.
    Now my blood flows due to their treachery.

    Will my wounds ever heal?
    Only time will tell.
    For now I remain shrouded in grief,
    Because her betrayal hurt like hell.

    Sad but sometimes finding who someone truly is its best. Only god knows why this happens. I think at times he puts persons like this along our path to open our eyes and see what's good too. At times we tend to concentrate more on those who hurt us and ignore the ones who admire n love us. Keep your pretty smile cause maybe someone is close by watching you.

    Thank you. I do believe God tests us. I just wish he hadn't used my mother to do it.
