    My poem to me. I was trying to force myself to be more confident. Lol. I'm not sure it worked.

    I've Met Someone

    I've met someone.
    You've met her too.
    You've talked to her once.
    She really trusts you.
    She was afraid at first,
    Afraid of what you might say.
    She had been hiding for so long.
    You could say she's been tucked away.
    If your wondering who I'm talking about,
    I guess I'll tell you her name.
    I'm the one who has been hiding.
    But I'm no longer afraid.

    To gain confidence, stop believing your detractors and start believing yourself. And keep writing poetry. It is something you obviously love doing and have a knack for.

    Thanks so much. I was only 15yrs. old when I wrote that. No girl that age is truly confident. I was trying to talking myself into confidence. Now I don't care. I am happy with my life and who I turned out to be.
