    my words to anyone who has ever been hurt.

    Look Straight Ahead

     Have you ever looked into someones eyes,
    And thought that you were in love?
    Then they decide to break your heat,
    And you feel so alone.

    If you have been in this situation,
    Then i know just how you feel.
    So do many others.
    We have been there, done that too.

    So put the past where it belongs,
    And look straight ahead.
    Because the future holds many things,
    Like life and love and soon you won't feel so bad.

    So give it just one little chance,
    And I shall give you my word.
    You will feel much better.
    A brighter light may shine upon your world.

    This was a really eloquently and caring write. I loved that you reached out in this to say "Hey, if you're going through this, you're not the only one. Others have been there too and we understand. So don't give up." The only issue I had with this piece was that I couldn't tell if you were trying to rhyme or not. There were some that seemed to almost rhyme, or perhaps not meant to at all? For now I'm going with free form. And encouraging read. Bless you for sharing.

    Thank you so much. I've never really thought about what style i have but i guess free form would be it. sometimes i rhyme, sometimes i dont, and sometimes i do both in the same poem. i dont think about it. i just do my best to put into words what my heart feels.
