    Poem Commentary

    To my husband. I love you.

    Knight

     Darling prince,
    Sweetest knight,
    Never shall thou be king.
    For power corrupts,
    And thy soul is to pure,
    For a crwon to dishonnor thee.

    The shining light,
    That comes from your heart,
    Can outshine the sun its self.
    The care that you give,
    To all those you love,
    Has the power to save one from hell.

    Blessed be He,
    Who sent thee to me.
    My protector of divine might.
    To your arms I may run.
    Your heart i will love.
    Forever and always my knight.

    It made me smile cause its kind of funny that I refer to my husband.as my knight in shining armour. He is also there no matter what I go through. He takes bitter, angry n witchy me too. Lol... its a great poem n hope you gave it to him so he can read it.

    Thank you. I am glad you liked it. He is my knight though we both joke that his armor is rather tarnished, lol. I haven't given it to him yet. I am going to write it up really pretty and give it to him for Christmas.
