    I love Fall for the colours in the trees and the skies are a promise that Heaven does exist.

    If You Don't Believe In Heaven

    If you don’t believe in Heaven, just take a look outside

    And witness autumn’s majesty as all around it abides.

     

    If you don’t believe in heaven, just open up your eyes

    And see a glory that abounds on hillsides and in the skies.

     

    If you don’t believe in heaven, then look upon the face

    of each small child when seeing pumpkins in the place.

     

    If you don’t believe in heaven, gaze upon the stars at night.

    Lift your head and smile as God smiles on you tonight.

     

    If you don’t believe in heaven, wait upon the dusk of day

    And see the melting sun fade creating shadows as it fades away.

     

    If you don’t believe in heaven, smile and lend a hand today.

    Give to others and don’t wait for a thank you, give anyway.

     

    Heaven will show itself and appear for you

    If you look and create it, too.

    Heaven starts with you.

    I completely share in your sentiment of Heaven. I have just written a poem a couple of days ago following the same concept. Great minds think alike. Thank you for walking me through the beauty of Gods goodness for all. Happy New Year :)

    Heaven starts with you. Profound words. Your philosophy on life is wonderful and these thoughts show your love of it. I too believe in Heaven... as Heaven sent you.

    Marty, another great sentiment set to prose. You must be a real joy to be around. You seem to have a real passion for life and respect for God's creation. I, too, am often amazed at the sheer wonder of it all. How can one not believe in heaven? The beauty and intricacies of God's creation are mind boggling. You see it everywhere, everyday. From the minute detail found in one sinlge cell to the vast wonder of the universe. There has to be a Devine explanation for it all. I, for one, take comfort in knowing that heaven exists. That there is an eternal place for all who trust in and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for your eloquent words. They touched me. Read my poems These Are The Things, Borrowed Shoes and The Light. I don't believe you've read them before. I think they may strike a similar chord. Thanks for sharing... Kevin

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
