    Pick Up

"Hey Brandi... It's Kevin (phone static), I was wondering if you wanted to get back together?... Give me a call. Love you."

"Brandi. It's John. I just want you to know that I'm here for you if you need a shoulder to cry on. I know you have been going through a lot of tough stuff lately. Just know that I'm here for you. (TV sounds) I love you Brandi. See you tomorrow."

Please don't try to fix me.
    I'm not broken.
There are some things you can't help.

I love this town and the people in it.
The way the leaves shiver in the early morning,
and grow loose in the afternoon.

    Message deleted.

Puddles litter the sides of the roads.
They ripple with each slight disruption.
    I wait for tommorrow.
Because there's no hope for today.

I'm usually not very fond of dialogue in poems, but this is amazing. I love the way you used simple things like the leaves and and puddles to mirror your emotions. Truly an amazing write. --Natalie.

Awe... Thank you so much. :)

You have such a strong, beautiful vision Bullets... this is amazing! It felt like a little movie playing out as I watch the leaves bend and the ripples in the puddles as the cars drive by. You are a true artist in every sense of the word.

Oh my... I don't know about that. But thank you so much. Haha. It really does mean a lot to me.
