    Poem Commentary

This is for someone... Special. :)

    My Pet

    Come here, my pet.
Bring me the roses of your heart.
I never thought that revenge would
take the form of red rain.

Let us take them by force.
    Come in as millions.
Let them feed us their souls,
they're as sweet as sugar cane.

    Come here, my darling.
    We've much work to do.
    Must close all the windows
so they can't see us making love.

    And when we're done.
    It smells of summer.
Flowers are blooming preparing to birth
    sweet, poisonous apples.

Dare we dine on each other's
    sweet after-love thoughts?
So much I wish to dig my nails into you.
    Come here, my pet.

You have a very nice gift to write -- the first poem I read of yours, about the little broken winged one by the ocean so touched me... you reflect the youth of today with big wide eyes, looking for truth. This poem, specifically takes Reader into rooms that were never seen before 1952, when o' Ricky 'n Lucy slipped the public a view, called two beds, it was true, so sad the way woman could not enjoy too... You bring the role of woman, unafraid to experience pleasure in This Century. Your writing is nicely abstract attached to realism, using specifically, "like flowers are preparing to birth, sweet poison apples"... like eve

Thank you, Spring. I am not afraid to be expressive. It shows just how powerful a person really is. I want to be powerful. :) But only through writing, nothing else.

Passion, yes. A hunger that is trying to be feed but dose the feeding ever fill the need?

Hardly ever... It doesn't last very long.

Erotic and dark .. a fine combination!! I wonder if that is what it's like to be with a vampire? Great write.

Ahhh... I wish I was a vampire. :) Thank you.

He he. I love the simplicity of your comments...

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
