    Tourniquet

    Pushing down, pulling out cartilage.
releasing the pressure into a stained life.
    Your eyes give you away.
    A fabulous specimen,
with a heart meant to rest.
    Cut off circulation
to the life I once knew.
    You whipser quietly.
    We mingle with life,
    tangled inside the blankets.
    Sweating love amoung the petals.
    I breathe out music, repetition.
    I screamed for deliverance
    and you have saved me.
    Put life into my veins.
    My tourniquet,
    my broken lie.

The simple line "I breathe out music" gets you a 10 right here. Luv it.

Thank you so much. It means a lot. :)

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
