    Snuff

    Your eyes scream
    streetlights,
    and roads damp from rain.
    Wet asphault glimmers
    under the dim yellow glow.
    A musky scent of mud
    makes my head foggy.
    And your skin is soft,
    but your heart is thick.
    Beating, into something unimaginable.

    *     *     *

I tried to write something pretty
    for you.
    But the words stop dead
    in their tracks...

There is a lot of darkness here. Darkness can be beautiful, mysterious and yet...here there be tygers.

This overflows with pain and longing, Bullets... the title is perfect, the ending is WONDERFUL. I love this, every single line of it!

amazing visual context, such simple word choice, and thats what made it, the fact that you made so little mean so much. some thing my jazz teacher told me, was that its not what you play, its how you play it. and i think that that also applies to this, its not what you write, its how you right it. beautiful right lovely. -tim-

Your words will never stop short. They carry on in the hearts of those that hear and read them. I promise this to you...

Your sense of visual stimulation to your reader is a growing force to be reckoned with! You have created such a stage that it is impossible to look away from your work. I am so impressed with your poetic visions. Your blood is made of ink, and you are a gift to all of us who truely understand what this art is really about.-Amazing talents you have.-Maddi

Thank you, again, Maddi. I will treasure your words in my heart, forever. I will keep going because people like you believe.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
