let me lift my tender hands
trembling, to your face
and look to see if in your eyes
I have any place

let me run my fingers
through the texture of your pain
let our healing tears fall down
like gentle summer rain

let us find safe harbor
within our shared embrace
and release our lonely ghosts
on this sweet wind of change

your heart's the only temple
I will ever worship in
I offer up to you, my love
everything I am

so let me touch you with intent
and let us stoke this fire
discover how I burn for you
with unrestrained desire

let your knowing hands caress
the longing of my soul
intoxicate me with your lips
possess me, make me whole

feel my fingers trace the shape
of your broken heart denied
and let me taste the salty trace
of the tears you never cried

let my wicked mouth enchant
without a single word
set my bridled passion free
to love you undeterred

let my loving fill you up
then take me as your own
to your heart surrendered
no more to weep alone

let me feel you love me
with your skillful dancing tongue
in glorious raptured abandon
swirling me unsprung

let me feel you fill me
with everything you are
and find the perfect rhythm
to erase our many scars

we'll love until our eyes can laugh
and every pain has been surpassed
no more tears, I'll pant your name
more, more, more (I'm still the same!)

I am touched, overcome, and humbled. The beacon I seek has been ignited.

I am sure the person you are writing these newest poems for is very flattered. I am sure that he could only dream of a love like that. I loved it.

Seems to give me a feeling of Utopia, Your embrassing words take me to a place of love I've never known before. Your natural talent of rhyme simply amazes me. the ending really connects to the beggining on how you are still the same love. Well written.

No one can say it like you do tenderpoison, I wish I had the words that seem to come to you with such ease and just flow from your every pore, I am speechless in my praise for I can never do you the justice you are so deserving of, let my 10 speak for me..

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
