    I like to sitt apon the beach,toes in the sand. With a good book in hand. Writing poerty in the sand.

    From A Distance

    From a distance across the sea
    The beveled waters carry me

    Across the sea
    The dawn awakens
    Rises the morning light
    Seagulls fly above the Gaile
    Bring only noise and tales

    The wind carries me
    My thoughts wonder 

    I long to hear the tales
    The stories you tell
    Drifting with imagination

    The beauty of the land
    Only makes me wish
    My toes to feel the sifting sand
    To sit apon the beach

    I'd listen to tall tales
    That filter through
    Making Loving memories with you

    Tell you what ... You have a stage presence in there somewhere. The way you drew your lines and placed them like part of the composition suggests to me that you might be good at orating them as well. Too bad we can't post mp3's . Nice job.

    I love reading poems that give me ideas. This was just lovely. I could see the sea gulls flying around the sails of the old clipper ship. Opps...one just left something on your shoulder. My imagination goes crazy sometimes! Great job!
