    Happy Valentines Day My Darling

    It's Valentines Day

     It's Valentine's Day my darling
    It isn't the roses that you brought
    Not even the diamond ring
    You gave
    I love to eat the chocolates
    In the fancy heart shaped box
    Not even the chocolates is what I want

    What I want no one can give
    But only you my darling

    I want to walk  hold your hand
    To hear your voice only
    To hear the sweet things you say
    Only makes me love you more


    Lay with me stroke my brow
    Sing to me a love song
    I'll fall to sleep in your arms
    We'll snuggle you and I

    When we awake
    A new day waits
    To share our love
    once more

    It is you daring that I want
    No one else can take your place

    It's what a poet is Betty. A romantic! Happy to see that love keeps on truckin even if the bumper car of youth hits us as it passes us on the road of life. YOU ... sound like you've recaptured it here!
