    Poem Commentary

    This is a story about a little girl who's daddy had a heart attack. She was peering out a window at  a shiny bright star with a quarter moon. A little girls daddy told her he would be there if she ever needed him to look at the star and quarter moon. It would remind her he loved her and it would be alright. Daddy was there. This to would pass.

    Daddys Eyes

     It was on a clear night 
    Peering towards heavens door
    Her daddies heart almost took flight
    The little girl ran for help looking up
    Saw a star quarter moon in sight
    Brought back to her delayed in flight
    With a  big star qaurter moon  in sight
    She remembered it always
    It was daddies promise to come back
    Daddy passed in time
    Heart broken she remembered his words
    I'll be back I'll be right here
    Many times in life trails came her way
    A feeling she could not take
    Finding the right answers lingered painfully
    When looking toward  heaven
    She saw the quarter moon and star
    Daddies way of saying he'll be back
    It brought comfort to her heart
    She remembered what he had said
    When the stars shines
    I'll rock your heart with the moon
    Daddy will be there it will pass
    She only saw the star quarter moon
    When she couldn't find her way
    There to remind her it will be okay.
    Daddy will be there

    awwww Betty, this was too Sad...but soooo Beautiful...tears escape me..as i think of my children.....Daddy's are always our heroes...even in their absence...this was absolutely Beautiful Namaste...Terra @}-'-,.- (10+ )

    What we see in daddy's eyes often tell us a life long story-- I read so much into my daddys eyes, he was a man courage and strength! I loved him so! Mary
