    STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT

     WE WERE STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT
    AS WE HELD EACH OTHER TIGHT
    NOT CARING ABOUT THE MOMENT
    JUST STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT
    YOU TOLD ME YOUR PROBLEMS
    I CRIED OUT WITH MINE
    FOR TOGETHER AGAIN WOULD NEVER BE
    JUST STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT
    ALL WE DID WAS HELD EACH OTHER TIGHT
    NOT THINKING ABOUT TOMARROW
    ONLY TO FILL MORTAL NEEDS
    YOU THANKED ME FOR THE SPLENDER
    I YOU FOR HOLDING ME TIGHT
    UNDER THE STARS TOGEGHTER
     YOUR COMFORT MENT A LOT
    NOW YOU HAVE GONE YOUR WAY
    I HAVE GONE MINE
    JUST TWO STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT
    NEVER TO SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN
    I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER
    THE MOMENTS WE SHARED
    TWO STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT
    THAT SIMPLY HELD EACH OTHER TIGHT

    We were strangers when you joined my circle of friends... You circled in on the wing of a dove and read my poetry from beginning to end. And now in this time and place I feel your love. Your poetic magic is bold and strong, I read it like I'd sing a song. Gentle, caring an sweet. LOL, BDC
