    Poem Commentary

    I dedicate this to a friend who is sick and in our prayers.

    And Jesus said

     I come to you Lord
    Down on my knees
    Knowing I can depend
    On you being there

    My friend Lord is sick
    Please help  

    When two or more are gathered
    In your name you said
    There is power
    Power in your name

    There is a presence of
    Your healing touch
    Divine presence of God

    In the name of Jesus
    I ask for them Lord

    Take their hand
    Watch over them
    Shower them with your love

    Watch over their family
    With your guardian angels touch
    Be with them all the way

    Wipe the tears from their eyes Lord
    Send the holy spirit their way
    You Lord can get them through

    I ask again Lord in your name
    You alone Lord know
    What the out come will be
    Remember Lord I am on my knees

    Take their hand as I too took yours
    Comfort their needs
    Heal in your name
    Lord be with them please

    The way you have worded this prayer is so humble, loving, and caring. Your faith and devotion to the Lord has been revealed in your choice of words that you have used in this powerful prayer that you have so beautifully poured out from your loving heart.
