TAKING MY BREATH AWAY
IT WAS A JOYFUL MOMENT WHEN THROUGH BIRTH YOU CAME TO MEBLESSED BY GOD A MOTHER TO BE
WHEN THEY PUT YOU IN MY ARMS
I CRIED THE DAY THEY TOLD ME
YOUR LIFE WAS SHORT TO BE
YOUR LITTLE HAND HELD MY FINGER
IN MY HEART SAYING SAVE ME
THE TEARS FILLED MY EYES FLOWING
EVERY WAKING MOMENT MENT
MORE AND MORE TO ME
MAKING THE BEST OF EVERYDAY
BEING THE BEST MOTHER I COULD BE
I CRIED DEAR GOD
TAKE HIM NOT FROM ME
TAKE ME
HE PLAYED HE LIVED HE GREW
THEN ONE DAY GOD CAME
HE TOOK HIM FROM ME
CRADLED IN MY ARMS HELPLESSLY I CRIED
EMPTINESS FILLED MY SOUL
MY HEART CRIED OUT DEAR GOD
YOUR TAKING MY BREATH AWAY
I CAN NOT BLAME DEAR GOD
IT WAS MEANT TO BE
HE WAS ONLY ON LOAN
ON HIS GRAVE I KNEELED AND PRAYED
HIS BODY NOW PERFECT IN HARMONY
I THANK GOD FOR EVERYDAY
HE WAS LOANED TO ME
THE MEMORIES HE LEFT ME
I CARRY IN MY HEART
A PICTURE HE'S IN MY ARMS
LOOKING JUST LIKE ME
