    People like you

     It is people like you that make people like me
    Your understanding your kindness your trust
    The difference in you makes a difference in me
    Yesterday today beyond tomorrow
    Sticks to my memory glued with perfection
    You share with me like it is or how it should be
    Out spoken or softly touched with a guidance
    Enhances the light that teaches something new
    Makes a better view
    Excepted by the excepted brought forth by you
    Bringing  forth a  knowledge stirs the stew
    Keeps the pot warm feeds the memory
    Leaves memory's of you
    From you  to me from me to me
    To be shared with others
    Giving an opinion that has no fear
    Carries guidance a ways
    Keeps us on our toes as we learn
    But best of all my friends 
    Are the things we learn from each other

    If this poem were movie, it would be called a "chick flick". Not saying I don't like it, but this expresses a kind of inner joy in non-competitive camaraderie that I observe women sharing among themselves that men usually don't. (This work obviously made me think.) Now I have to ask why I still think a man would write it differently!! Good work!

    When we all have each other to turn and get good advice it helps. Support is a good thing.
