    Isn't love wonderful. It should last forever.

    The Burning in my soul

     Did you know there is a burning in my soul
    The warmth of your love never smothers
    But gives life to my being
    Never holds an injustice but trust
    Takes flight with me but never follows
    Holds vast to your nest
    Yet never left unguarded
    But never shows
    Brightens my day with love
    Makes mine worth giving
    Many tomorrows follow yearning
    For the same everyday
    Like a drink I thrist for your touch
    Dance with me hold my body close
    For together in this life we'll build
    We'll make this the best life we'll ever had
    Because darling I love you so
    You keep my heart burning in my soul

    Bettysrainbow never fails to please her audience and to inspire serious lovers how to attain and nurture enduring love, This poem, "The Burning In My Soul" is a coronet, a tiara of the finest filigerre, with precius srones set, to rest on the brows of true lovers. In the very fist line , she invites lovers to learn about true love,"Do you know there is a burning in my soul" She cleverly does thiis by inviiting her own lover to know what are he feelings of what genuine and fervently lasting love ought to be.. Abiding love demands certain elements of commitments and holds promises." For together in this life we build/We will make this the best life we have ever had." I do not think this gifted poetess who understands more than most people,the perquisites and complexities of love, had set out to write an essay of marraige counselling for young lovers who are about to seriously embark on a love journry or love adventure, but that is what her poem most beautifully,most fervently, most clearlyand most artistically had turned out to be. As for styl and imagery! She has materly avoided metaphorical colouring, as she desaire the injunctions in her poem to be as clear as an exqiusite piece of crystal. The poem cotains some well-timed, well placed , carefully crafted epigrams ,for example."Many tomorrows follow yearning," The short ,snappy lines exudes fervency and vitality as well as serving efffectively to sustain the enduring love theme of the poem My rating for this exquisite bit of classic love filigree is 10X10++
