The Bug
I Dreamed I was a bug
Within the grassy jungle
From across the lawn antennas up I crept
I saw a chicken pecking scratching ground
One quick swift motion threw me across the lawn
Like a flying aunt takes flight
A mountain tall stood before me the wall
I started to crawl came apond a window
With a hole so small
I squeezed I pushed my way through
Then landed on the floor
Nothing going my way
With my antennas up sense something the kitchen
I knew I wanted to eat
It is a buggy world out there
Morsels everywhere to eat
All my legs began to move
Across the floor with me
Cracks and crevices hills to climb
Took me to the leg
A huge table towered over me
On top all I could eat
Crawling to the top I took my fill
All I could eat found a crumb
I carried home from the table
I fell to the floor landed on my crumb
Starting back across the floor
I stopped for a rest
I looked up to see
It was big foot towering over me
With that I'll say good bye
I am not a bug anymore
