He Barked
He barked he roared like a lionMarking his territorial boundaries
Time of his own waits
Hidden in the shadows
Growls to be heard
Unaware unafraid she knows
He's a puppy inside
He melts with her touch
His growling wines
For the softness of her touch
She waits content knowing full well
He makes time for her
He's the head of his home
Yet shares his domain
With only her
Lets his lioness speak
When night time calls
He cuddles them all
His bark now purrs
Like a kitten she knows
