A Glimmer of Fear
A glimmer of fear
Catches your eye.
It was almost like you knew
That you had come here to die.
You made it so easy,
To proceed with my plan.
You didn't fight back,
Like every other man.
You sat there and took it,
You seemed so weak!
You didn't show anger,
You still seemed so meek.
But I knew the truth,
You had lied to me.
Inside you were cursing,
You wanted to see me bleed.
And now I look on your face,
The anger now shows.
You've shown your true colours,
And now everyone knows.
I can't ever punish you.
I love you still.
But I can leave you here,
And if it kills me, I will.
