    Watch Over You

    I see your eyes in the stars,

    And I know you're watching me.

    Watching over my rights and wrongs,

    Keeping me safe and free.


    I wish that I had known you more,

    In your lifetime and mine.

    But promise me you'll care for me now,

    And love me for all of time.


    You are my guiding spirit,

    My angel and my friend.

    It comforts me to know that you are there,

    Whatever life may send.


    The one barrier in life is death,

    You prove it isn't so!

    My only fear is that you stop loving

    And that you will suddenly go.


    So please watch over me,

    The way you always do.

    You've always been there to protect me.

    And for that, I love you.
