It's Not Goodbye
You brush my hand,
And say goodbye.
I watch a tear
Fall from your eye.
The day we met,
Time seemed to stop,
Just you and me,
We were on top.
For months we stayed
Alone in bliss.
How could we know
It would end like this?
But though I go,
I leave today -
You're in my heart,
And there you'll stay.
I think you knew
As your lips brushed mine,
That my love will last
Till the end of time.
So let no tear
Fall from your eye -
We'll be together,
E'en after I die.
