The Siren
"Come to me, be here always,
Hear my song and come.
Follow my song to reach my beauty,
Come to me, my loved one".
A beautiful woman singing a song,
Carried on the breeze.
A song that seduces and hypnotises,
A song that begs and pleads.
But this woman's beauty hides the danger -
A monster with melodious breath.
Many are brought to her by her song,
And all men meet their death.
The siren's song is a beauty
Almost too much to hear.
Men who hear it are filled with love,
Love that quickly turns to fear.
"Come to me" the siren calls,
Looking for someone to drown.
She pulls the hearts of all men in the world,
Who cannot ignore that sound.
These men all learn a lesson,
That beauty really can kill.
For she has a beautiful song to sing,
And an ocean of death to fill.
Singing from a lonely island,
Men are drawn to her,
Only to die there on the rocks,
They die from her allure.
"Come to me, I want you here,
Follow my song to find me.
I'll wait here forever for you,
Come to me across the seas"
