Your Eyes
You gaze at me with two brown eyes,
Two orbs in your emotionless head.
Gazing into my soul with yours,
Until I feel our souls are wed.
Your eyes show a depth of love,
A soul full of light.
Any emotions you can't bear to show
Are reflected in your sight.
Your eyes are soft and warm,
Always loving and kind.
When you look at me you know my thoughts,
You see my soul and mind.
Our eyes show who we really are,
They show how we feel.
When you look in my eyes, and I in yours,
I know that this is real.
I don't know how to read you
By looking at your face -
But your eyes tell me what I need to know,
They move me past time and place.
Your eyes tell me a story,
A story of truth and lies.
I see your strength and beauty -
It's all there in your eyes.
