Out of Mind
He turned and left
In the morning light.
Out of mind
When out of sight.
He never knew
It was a lie -
But our relationship died
Under a purple sky.
When we began,
I thought it love.
But I soon found
He was not enough.
I stayed with him -
I really tried,
But on that night
My passion died.
After some time,
He knew I'd lied -
For soon he felt
I was cold inside.
Our love burnt out,
And he left my side.
Out of sight
And out of mind.
