Walk Away
Put the barrel in my mouth,
Give me the strength to fight.
Don't let me pull this trigger
And lose who I am tonight.
Wrap the chain around my throat,
The chain I forged with tears.
Give me the strength to break the bonds
That I've carried all these years.
Hold the knife up to my throat,
Don't make me say goodbye.
I don't want to see you lonely,
Or ever make you cry.
It falls to you to do it now,
To put the poison in my drink.
I don't want to change my mind -
Don't give me a chance to think.
So tie my hands behind my back,
You must fire the gun.
Watch me die and walk away -
Walk into the setting sun.
