    Eyes Meet

     Eyes meet across a room,
    And with a glance it's done -
    The heat of love comes all too soon,
    And it's impossible to run.

    A gentle smile ignites a spark,
    It makes you catch your breath.
    It lights up a world that seemed so dark,
    And takes away belief in death.

    A simple glance across a room,
    And my mind becomes undone,
    It's all so simple and yet confused -
    This love is blinding like the sun.

    There was something in the way you looked
    At me, that touched my very soul.
    With one quick glance you had me hooked,
    Like a hunter traps a foal.

    Eyes meet across a room,
    And now I'm always yours.
    Love was so strong and yet so soon,
    It followed its own laws.

    Eyes meet across a crowd,
    And now we both are caught -
    Till death our love is strong and loud,
    A force that can't be fought.
