A Heart, So Easily Shattered
You broke my heart,
so fragile, like glass.
You crushed me and broke
My heart, so easily shattered.
My heart was a window into my soul
Making up the panes of my life.
You smashed the glass and so destroyed
A heart, so easily shattered.
I thought I was strong,
But I was wrong, you made me see.
It was a stranger who wept for you,
From my heart, so easily shattered.
You treated my heart like it was a toy,
A piece of glass that you owned.
You felt no remorse at all when you broke
My heart, so easily shattered.
