Christine
Two loves for one girl,
So hard to choose.
For choosing one destroys
One she can't bear to lose.
One poor young woman,
Torn between soul and heart.
Between these two men,
Who tear her world apart.
Two different men,
One from her past.
Her memories of him
She knew couldn't last.
One from her present,
A guide for her soul.
She followed him blindly,
Until from heaven he stole.
Two men to choose from,
She knows who to choose.
But the other will perish
As chaos ensues.
Poor young Christine,
Aged before time.
Forced to be punished,
For absolutely no crime.
Raoul and the angel,
Which path to take?
She knows she loves Raoul,
But his life is at stake.
Only one option
Remains for this child.
She knows she can't face it,
A life in the wild.
But choose she must,
She knows it inside.
She chooses the angel,
Though she knows he has lied.
But the angel can't cope
With his burden of guilt,
His past is a dagger,
Which stabs to the hilt.
So Christine and Raoul,
Together at last.
And the angel is forgotten,
Along with their past.
