A Nameless Love
Your nameless face beats like a drum
In my cold, bloodless heart -
You are the one warmth in my life,
I loved you from the start.
We met like passing raindrops,
Our lives went on just the same.
But now I've come to love you,
Though I still don't know your name.
We've never laughed, touched or kissed,
And I fear we never will.
I pray that you once loved me back,
And hope you think of me still.
We know each other's minds and souls,
Though we've never said a word.
I only want to be with you,
I scream but am not heard.
To all of those around us
We seem a matching pair -
And yet I still don't know your name,
And I'm not sure if you care.
Please answer this, my silent call,
Please help me win this game.
Let me know if my love is wrong,
Or let me know your name.
