False Smile
A smile that glows,
A false, wicked smile,
The truth behind it no one knows.
We're defenseless, alone for miles.
A mysterious stranger,
A warning to all.
We are all now in danger
From their banshee-like call.
A false smile betrays,
It makes us feel whole.
Your smile delays
The healing of my soul.
All alone in time,
Alone in the dark.
I see for a sign,
But the world is stark.
This stranger, this banshee,
Brings death in their wake.
The fog settles around me,
The one you had to forsake.
Your unnatural, false smile
Summons the banshee-like fiend.
You killed us all, and all the while,
Your beautiful, false smile gleamed.
