    Each Day I Pray For..

     
           “ Prayer”

    each day I pray for peaceful thought to guide my every action

    I’m convinced that love is God giving life His sanction

     

    for sinful man to understand is more than we can do

    how Heaven’s light who had more right

    to let the hate abound

    could still feel love and stay above

    the minds by hatred bound

    and let “His peace” shine through

     

    Dear Lord I pray to find Your way

    without You I am lost

    please Jesus please

    please give me peace

    Your love has borne the cost

     

    I really don’t need to see You

    I don’t really need to be You

    I just really need to know You.

     

    Save me Jesus!
