"Life As We Don't Know It"
“Life As We Don’t Know It”
our deserts hold great mysteries,
remnants of our history,
stories of our seas and lands,
what secrets lie beneath the sands?
once ocean tides lapped mountainsides,
what sagas they must hold inside,
once glaciers proud pushed things around,
formed giant knolls of solid ground,
from the earth air made the sky,
we’re only now learning why,
the stories of our rain filled clouds,
slowly push away the shrouds,
of history and mysteries,
revealing God’s great victory’s,
many things it took to form,
the earth we now walk upon,
forces great and forces small,
each holds a microbe of it all,
if ten billion worlds we know about,
circle other suns,
it’s not hard to figure out,
there’s life on more than one,
mysteries of our universe,
hold secrets to the stars,
other worlds diverse births,
there’s other earths like ours!
whose deserts hold great mysteries,
visions of strange histories,
stories of their seas and lands,
what secrets lie in alien sands?
