"Gypsy In Her Pocket"
“Gypsy In Her Pocket”
She’s got a gypsy in her pocket
and a diamond in her heart
the time she spends in wonder
tears her head apart
she can’t defend her feelings
yet she has no other choice
the past has held her back
further than she knows
the life she shares in Gypsy Land
are dreams personified
the time she spends in hopefulness
cannot be destroyed
love can turn her heart to tin
hate can turn her around
each moment that she spends alone
is music without sound
there’s a gypsy in her coattails
and wind beneath her wings
the songs that she longs to sing
are gems to set her free
she’s got a gypsy in her pocket
and a rainbow in her hand
