      “Warm Summer Rain”

     

    I dream of soft summer nights

    the path of love we shared

    Oh! let me hold your sweet body near

    in the hours before waking

    Oh! how I love your memory dear

    though my heart is breaking

    in dreams you’re still mine

     

    Oh! let me kiss you again

    let the sun shine through your eyes

    like warm summer rain

     

    Oh! let me feel your love once again

    let the dreamy warm sunshine

    bring you home to me.
